Large Table lamp Unseen - Brass

To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Petite Friture initiates a new collaboration with the talented duo of female designers from Milan Studio Pepe.

"We want to preserve the idea that light is pure through the modern techniques we employ in our design. The manufacturing of the piece proved to be very trying because of the technical difficulties of the light. We sought to recreate the classic neon light, but with LED technology.” Arianna Lelli Mami and Chiara di Pinto. 

Light is taken to new heights and reaches a form of pureness that is expressed through the authentic neon-like rendition. The pieces are overlaid with brass, a noble material for a delicate final touch.

StudioPepe

Studiopepe is a design agency founded in Milan in 2006, by Arianna Lelli Mami and Chiara Di Pinto.

Their multidisciplinary approach, including interior design, product design and creative direction, draws on an iconographic and visionary identity. Their poetic and rigorous language is based upon experiments and research on colors  and materials. 

Studiopepe deploys its expertise worldwide with retail, contract and private projects. The studio’s team is composed of 15 professionals, architects, interior designers and product designers. 

In 2018, Arianna Lelli Mami and Chiara Di Pinto exhibited a light installation in Milan, at a private venue called Club Unseen. Somewhere between a sensory, visual and aesthetic experience, the project seduced Amélie du Passage. From this collaboration, tinted with intuition and optimism, Unseen was born.

Unseen, la lumière devient sculpture


Ce système inédit de tubes lumineux LED modulables à la forme incurvée se décline en suspensions et appliques qui se combinent à l’infini. 


Chaque élément s’assemble et permet de répliquer des dessins lumineux à l’envi, verticalement ou horizontalement. 


La virtuosité technique de cette collection de luminaires design est poussée à son apogée à travers un impressionnant chandelier de 2 mètres de longueur. 


Petite Friture concrétise ici un rêve audacieux et s’exerce au jeu des formes pures, où la lumière se fait guider et crée une émotion, à travers cette ligne contemporaine à la fois spectaculaire et sensible.
