THE NEOTENIC LAMP WAS AN IMMEDIATE AND INSTINCTIVE FAVOURITE FOR ME
I was drawn above all to its organic which gives flow to the piece, and its unpretentious yet dynamic perfection.
Although the collection follows and industrial production, the handcrafting skills of the lamp’s designer are palpable.
“Charmingly curvy” and “generous “ are also accurately describe these lamps. The different dimensions available are well thought out, with the XXL lamp providing a strong structural presence, and the smaller version giving off a cheeky personality. The colour choices also make this piece highly distinctive.
The large lamp in Vanilla embodies pure strength and confers an extra sense of robustness on the lamp, and the vivacious red option is more refined, audacious and fun.
My favourite is the subdued, almost-aubergine tint often found in visual arts.
