Donut Mug M - Blue

Drawing her inspiration from the world of baking, designer Pia Chevalier imagined her mugs as a collection of sweet treats. The oversized handle emulates the shape of a doughnut, and the enamel finish gives the piece a sugar-glazed coating look. Taking the culinary analogy to the next level, each of the collection’s colours hints at different doughnut flavours: Lemon, Vanilla, Cherry, Blueberry, Bubble Gum, and Pistachio . The Pistachio mug is available exclusively on our website.

Made in Portugal, the design of these ceramic mugs is grounded in craftsmanship. The hand-produced enamelling makes each piece unique. The thick texture echoes the voluptuousness of a doughnut, and the mug’s volume offers a generous 8cm-high countenance for tea, coffee, and other beverages.

Pia Chevalier

Independent designer Pia Chevalier trained at French Boulle school of fine arts and crafts and graduated in design and craftsmanship. She now has her own studio at the Orfèverie, where goldsmith company Christofle’s manufacturing outlet used to be based. In her creative process and in the composition of her pieces, designer Pia Chevalier lets spontaneity take over completely. 

Her work revolves around everyday objects, which she perceives as sculptures fitted with a power to create emotional connections. She makes her pieces lovable by conferring on them a certain sobriety.

Donut – A stylish design and eco-conscious production process

The Donut collection adorns an exquisite design, spurs envy, and forges a special relationship between the object and its user. Espresso cups and a larger mug supplement the collection for a truly generous assortment. A tasteful object of decoration, the Donut mug has also been branded as a fashion accessory as it was worn during the Fashion Week in 2021!


Special attention was granted to the choice of eco-friendly packaging options in order to reduce the amount of wrapping while sufficiently protecting the product. All mugs are wrapped in plastic-free wrapping and placed in cardboard packaging printed with water-based ink.
